Born in Kurtistown, she was retired from the former Robert’s Bakery and a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Buddhist Women’s Association and Nohea Kumiai. Services held. Survived by husband, Hideo Kami of Hilo; son, Norris (Alicia) Kami of Kohala; daughter, Karen (Scott) Read of Portland, Ore.; brother-in-law, Ralph (Chiyoko) Kami of Hilo; one granddaughter; nieces, nephews and cousins.
